  • 11am-12pm Competition, Oral Presentations, Non PG (Delhi) Below and 40yrs
  • 12pm-1pm Competition, Oral Presentations, Above 40 yrs (Delhi).
  • 1pm-2pm Competition, Podium Presentation of Posters
  • 02pm-04pm Competition, Oral Presentations, Below and 40yrs (National & International)
  • 04pm-06pm Competition, Oral Presentations, Above 40yrs (National & International)

General guidelines

  • Registration is mandatory for participation in contest.
  • Last date of submission of Abstract is 15 th November.
  • Selected papers/posters should be submitted by 25 th November.

Abstract submission guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted by the PRESENTING AUTHOR only with his/her complete details.
  • Only electronically submitted abstracts are accepted.
  • Abstracts must not exceed 500 words in length.
  • Authors’ first and last names must be spelled out in full. Please do not use any initials.
  • Do NOT use all upper-case letters when entering your abstract.
  • The abstract's title or authors names/institutions must NOT be inserted in the 'Content' field.
  • No graphs, tables, photographs, or slide presentations are accepted.
  • Abstracts will be published as one paragraph, so they should not be broken into multiple paragraphs. If you wish to use headings within your abstract, such as Introduction, Methods, Results, etc., they should be added at the beginning of a sentence within the paragraph and a colon (:) should be inserted after each heading.
  • The material submitted must not have been published at any national or international forum.
  • The Programme Committee reserves the right to change the topic and the form of presentation (oral/e-poster) of the abstract or to reject it.

Paper Presentation Guidelines

  • All presenters must be registered candidates for DOACON 2020.
  • Presentations must be prepared to convey key principles, facts and results in a clear and concise manner.Avoid lengthy tabulations of numerical data and limit equations to those for which the terms canbe properly defined.
  • Each presenter will be allotted 6 min as effective presentation time, plus 2 min for a Q/A session. All presenters must adhere to this time limit.
  • PPT/PPTX formats are recommended. Kindly ensure that all fonts comply with the basic installation of MS-Windows.
  • All Presentations must be submitted in advance,latest by 25 th November. In case of network failure at the time of presentation, we will present your slides and you can speak through the phone call.
  • There will be 3 awards in each category to be decided by the panel of judges. Overall 3 best papers shall also be selected across all categories. Awardees shall be notified in the evening during the DOA Inaguration function.
  • Last date for submission of abstracts for paper presentation is – 15 th November.

E-poster Guidelines

  • File format should be Power point (PPT)
  • Total size of presentation should not exceed 20 MB
  • Number of slides per E poster should not exceed 5
  • All slides should be in landscape format
  • No animations, movies or sounds to be added
  • The poster should be self explanatory
  • Text should be brief, well organized and include Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion and Acknowledgements
  • Font size should be between 26 and 36
  • Introductory slide to be displayed first indicating all authors and institution details.
